Who are we ?
On the fringe of being an active sound-system roots’n’dub since 2004, DUB LIVITY foam the different sessions of north-west France accompanied by his record stand.
Fans of reggae in the broad sense, we strive to offer the greatest number of the best productions and represses of the moment. Our selection is based on ska from the 60s and traces the history of reggae to modern UK, Jamaican and European productions.
We are at the head of DUB LIVITY MUSIC and SKANK O’CLOCK RECORDS labels.
With DUB LIVITY MUSIC, we present projects straight out of our studios or co-produced.
The SKANK O’CLOCK RECORDS label brings to light artists, singers, dubmasters and musicians whose work has particularly touched us.
We are also executive producers of the UNITONE SOUNDIMENTIONAL MUSIC label.
Fervent admirers of the work of REUBEN ADDIS, it remained unjustly unknown despite having worked with the biggest names in the scene and be at the head of a prolific studio, active for over 30 years. We have therefore associated with him to put forward his creations and thus make him known or recognize of the UK roots lovers.
It is noted that in addition to reggae, we are also fans of music of all kinds, especially black music.
It is therefore possible that the selections proposed on this site will gradually open up to more varied worlds.
Where are we ?
Currently based in NANTES, we also have “drop-off points” at CAEN. Arrangements can be discussed for intermediate cities such as RENNES. For this, contact us at email@example.com
